Is there a good programme to use, that allows for smooth playback? I did use VLC but since I switched to the most recent version, playback is horribly pixillated and low in resolution for reasons that baffle me. Quicktime and DIVX don't play DVD files. I can't use Windows Media Player as computer slows to a halt and playback is jerky.

Help!

I haven't got it on my new one so I just use Windows Media Player.
