The 'live boomarks' bit above the tabs and beside 'getting started'. How do you delete them? Got a bit cluttered. I know how to delete regaular flavour bookmarks but jiggered if I can figure this out!

Go into Bookmarks and organise bookmarks and you'll be able to delete them from there.

Got the Firefox Quantum update today which has nuked several of my favourite addf ins - TabMixPlus and CopySelectedLinks.
Written a fab bit of xl to get round the second, but does anyone know of a decent "Make a new tab load your homepage" add in?

Isn't that an option in Firefox's native options?

Surprisingly, no!
You need an add on to do it or muck about in the config
How do I change my new tab page in Firefox?
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. (2) Click the button promising to be careful. (3) Double-click the browser.newtab.url preference and enter your preferred page: Page thumbnails (default) => about:newtab.

Could you open a new tab and click the Home button?

Copy Selected Links now works addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/copy-selected-links/That one is v useful.

You can fix that in customise though.
Personally I never use it: F5 is my friend!

<screams>
why has firefox on the desktop suddenly started displaying certain sites oddly? (Robotkingdom, Bookdepository, BBC) Mid morning certain ones started loading with white backgrounds and not the intended text layout. At the same time FB images stopped working. Fine on other browsers, fine on FF on the laptop.
BBC *nearly* looks ok but I get the bar at the top displaying as a series of text links at the top of the news site but oddly not for the sports site.
Any ideas?
EDIT: appears to be an adblock plus issue. Hmmmmm. Turning it off for fb gets me my images back. Need to dig further.

Been into ABP's settings and in the advanced section clicked Update All Filter Lists
That's sorted it at the moment.
I'm guessing at some pt this morning something got corrupted or an incorrect filter was downloaded. Odd.
