Hi all,
we would just like to confirm that Simon Furman will be attending the London Super Comic convention.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to ask.

Oh wow is there anyone not attending that convention? How on earth can you afford all those guests, that's insane! Good luck with it though!

Hello and welcome.
I think sadly that clashes with the Birmingham Informal Gathering.

Another UK first, IDW Publishing will be at London Super Comic Convention
IDW Publishing are making the trip to the UK to attend their first ever U.K.Convention, We are extremely pleased we have managed to not only secure IDW's attendance but agree a schedule for portfolio reviews, with an eye to finding some new creative talent to sign up. Eisner award nominated Chris Ryall the Chief Creative Officer at IDW and the company's Editor-in-Chief since 2004 will be there to cast his critical eye over the portfolios as well as participate in a panel or two, but If that wasn't enough, we have also managed to secure an Exclusive London Super Comic Convention cover to Transformers, which will be released and available for the first time ever, at the show.
If you are a creator (writer, artist, inker or colorist) dont miss out this opportunity to have your portfolio reviewed and hopefully fulfill your ambition to be signed to a major American Publisher
added to info page on the site - but which issue for the new cover & by who? Expect it to be #3? mtmte or rid?

That is very impressive! Would have been nicer to have had the info a bit sooner in advance though, I'm already double-booked on that date!

Oh wow is there anyone not attending that convention? If they're not at London, they're at Cardiff. I'd obviously love to meet Stan Lee but I'd already booked for Cardiff before he was announced. Oh well, I didn't think I'd ever meet him anyway.

I'm going to check what train prices are or rooms - if total under £80 could get down to it.
can get same day saturday train ticket £42.75 getting 4pm train back. So how long does it take to get from excell to kings cross [check london transport later on] i've got about £3 on my card so need just adding some more to use london transport, then £15 entry. Expect the comic to be £5.

Infest2TF#2 cover A B&W but with a logo of the event on it. I'll wait until the comic is in 50p bins for the normal cover - if it had been inner page B&W on the cover - then that would have been better. Like just page of Guido's art uncoloured.

The Excel is very much in my manor, might see if I can get along to that.
I've got Furman's scrawl on a few things, but it would be nice to get Wildman's on some of those too.
