We are back on Earth and the spotlight is back on the Spike storyline and I for one couldn't be less interested. Brendan Cahill on art for this, takes a slightly bolder line with the art, less finicky rendering and clearer storytelling. It's very welcome. Sadly he is saddled with a complete dud of a story.
The departure of Mike Costa cannot come soon enough for me.
Every copy I received of #25 was damaged. The pages were stuck together, ink probably wasn't fully dry when they packed them at the printers, and trying to pry them apart just rips the pages. And Diamond don't have any extra stock to replace them.
Yeah, that white mark was where the pages were stuck, but my ones seemed to be stuck pretty darn good. Most of the pages could be opened, leaving just the white mark, but a couple near the end of the story would rip.
Several of the copies in FP were stuck shut as well. I went through 7 or 8 of them before finding a copy that I thought was fine, but discovered that the area around the staples on every page was stuck together leaving the white mark.
