I've just launched a new website as a "sister" project to Auto Assembly which is basically dedicated to Transformers computer and video games. It's inspired by the Game Zone that we've been running at the convention for the last few years showcasing games from the last 25+ years and the aim of the site will be to have reviews, features and developer interviews covering every TF game ever released on every format as well as containing up-to-date news on all the games due to come out.
It's only been online for a couple of days and there's a long way to go with the site right now (I have more reviewers in a partially finished stage which will be going live shortly) but I'm open to comments / suggestions and looking for reviewers / submissions so feel free to submit anything for inclusion. I want to make it as interactive as possible so let me know what you think.
It's probably going to be a major WiP for the next few months until I've got all the content on there that I want to, and then it will really just be daily updates with news and reviews of new products as they come in, but now's the time when I want input and suggestions so I know what people want from the site so it's not just the sort of resource I've wanted myself!
The site looks very nice and sleek, I like what you've done a lot! The only thing that comes to mind as a possible suggestion at this point is maybe include a link to the forum in the menu along the top, to make it a bit more prominent, and maybe link it straight to the video games subforum instead of the main index to make it less confusing for people who are just interested in the games side of things.
Glad you like it. I'll have a look at the layout and see if I can do something about a revised forum link or two...
I'm working on a lot more content - added a few more reviews earlier today and I've currently got about 300 screenshots sitting on my PC or on our server waiting to be attached to reviews. I've also just teamed up with a retro games website to work with them on getting some screenshots and support for the Commodore 64 titles to enhance our retro coverage even more...
Don't forget to vote in the polls on the site panel as this will give you a chance to directly influence the content on the site!
