So, like, Unicron is half Imperial Master, half Grune The Destroyer now?
The series continues to just get a "meh" from me.

Well that was a bit boring to be honest, sorry. It felt like Unicron and an 'epic' plotline just got phoned in.
Also an hilariously cheap flashback where they just show a picture of unicron with 'pew pew pew' noises over it.
I've not seen the show in a while, while the visuals still look stunning, the character animation seems way over the top. I don't recall the early episodes being like this. All the characters are flailing their arms and legs everywhere as they speak like children who need the loo. There's no subtlety there at all.

I was somewhat distracted towards the end by the idea that, were humans really in some way to owe their evolution to Unicron's presence, it would explain a lot of our more negative behavioural aspects as a species. My cynicism is clearly getting to me. |

Cautious about this, as Darkness Rising was pissdull and the series was fun when it stopped bothering with Cosmic Epics. But so far I'm happy, Unicron's a neat threat and is the most impressive he's been in ages (his involvement in Earth helps greatly).
And look, it's the Thirteen! And they're unnamed and not really interesting! That was certainly worth making a fuss over, Hasbro.

1.26 should have ended with The End? instead of TBC. we are going to ahve to wait until Sept 2012 before they start showing series 2 - they'll not show the 3 parter right away.

Season 2 is already airing. Saturday finished the Orion Pax storyline (meh), and next saturday starts the Bumblebee storyline (even bigger "meh"). I'l sure it's available online by now, given how many people on this board have already seen it. Unless you're like me and can't view videos online. |

But it'll be Sept before cartoon network start airing series 2. they did series one sept 2011 5-21 then series 1 14-26 this month.
