It'll be great to get to this. I like Hama's Wolverine run. But is a walk from the train station. That looks like hotel is on a A33 circle.

Just noticed they've also announced John Goode as a guest, a packaging artist for Hasbro Europe in the 90's who worked on Action Masters for Transformers.
That's another draw for me [alongside Hama], should make for interesting panel discussions.

I doubt I'll be able to afford it. 0.0% pay rise for 2011-2013 and rising costs of rent and food mean I have to be increasingly selective of trips away, alas. It does sound good though.

I am going to have to see in the New Year how I am placed. Depends on how much the carpet refit of my house ends up costing me as to whether I am in a position to go.
I'd like to give it a go but it is a bit up in the air.

Ideally I'd like to go, but it all depends on other events, and I was hoping to get across to Ireland next year as well.

I'll have to skip this. Between Big3, Swincon and putting money away for new specs circa March/April, I'm all tapped out!

Having looked at the budget and my various commitments it is clear to me that there is no way I am going to be able to afford to go to this sadly.
Ah well, perhaps another time.

I'm a bit foggy about how this ticket thing works - so you get an e-mail and you have to print that out and bring it to the show or something?

That's more or less it Over the last few shows we have run, to cut down on paperwork and any potential tickets going missing in the post, any advance tickets purchased you turn up on the day provide some form of ID and sign for your pass. Subject to availability there may be tickets available on the door too, but that depends on the total number of advance purchases. I hope that helps, if you have any further questions, just ask away All the best, Dave

I hope Larry comes back for this event next year - i'll miss this one. transport isn't very good for connecting north east to south west area. Was bad getting to Bristol in 2004. Was hoping that with the train station, airport, ferry terminal and the National Express coach station Southampton's links are much easier for access than most may realise. From North East with those coming who aren't driving, I think most get the train to London then change for Southampton? I know from experience flights are under an hour to Southampton from Newcastle, hope that might help? All the best, Dave
