Do you prefer your TFs packaged in alt mode or robot mode?

Alt mode, as then you have the fun of transforming it into robot mode straightaway.

Have always prefered alt mode but with the movie line I find I'm buying the one that come boxed in robot mode. Best Buy Ratchet and to a lesser extent Megatron look amazing in there boxes. Blackout and Scorponok look good to. Leader Prime and Bumblebee. I'll probably get most of the premiums as well as the one with the humans for the same reason.

I like them in action poses like "running" Deluxe Beast Machines Optimus Primal.
Jokes... Alt mode all the way.

If you're packaging in robot mode then FFS include Robot to Alt instructions !

Good point.
I did'nt mind my Argos Bumblebee/Prime 2 pack being 'battle ready', but doing the instructions in reverse order was awkward.

Alt-mode for me definitely. I already know that the have a humanoid mode - what is going to catch my eye is what they turn into.

(Actually... The 1 time I've resorted to the instructions was to check how Optimal Optimus's arms linked together in "car mode"... Haven't I told this story before??)
ANYWAY... point is, alt mode is sweet. Although for the movie toys, robot mode I think is more sellable.

I understand their logic in two parts, for why they're in robot mode. -A cool looking robot is easier to sell to kids than a minivan. -Most TFs have a fairly uniform shape in robot mode. This is not always the case for vehicles. Team Bullet Train are fairly normal sized robots but have very long and thin vehicles. They had to make a standard package that fits both them, and the much bulkier Skybyte shark.
I get both these reasons. But it's not fun. And TFs are more fun, easier, and more intuitive to transform into robot mode from vehicle, than the current way.

Yep, to all of those things. Put us in charge, HasBLOW! (Don't put us in charge, Hasbro.)
