My number 1 wish is that James R produces at least two more volumes of 'Transformers Classics UK'. Volume 1 was as close to perfection for the UK series as the hardback Titan books were for the US series, and I'd love to have a run of them to complement said hardbacks.
Second only to that is my wish for Transformers #81+ to do justice to the series they are continuing. I am very excited about the continuation, but don't know what to expect. I hope it will be sufficiently original to justify its place in the canon and not be just another apocalyptic cosmic threat to the universe ('Time Wars' and Unicron were quite enough in that line for one timeline, never mind the G2 Empire and Swarm, and the less said about 'Reaching the Omega Point' the better), and include the things that for me make Transformers stories Transformers stories, namely robots in disguise amongst us. Impossible to say at this stage whether I'll rate it as highly as the original conlusion ('Another Time and Place'), but I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it more than G2.
Third in the ranking is 'More Than Meets the Eye'. Following the masterpieces that were IDW's Ongoing #22-23, James is clearly the best TF writer at the present time, and to be honest I wish he were the one writing #81+. Simon may have something new and original to write in the Marvel series - James would for sure. As it is, I must buy a spin-off series to an alternate continuity I'm not at all interested in, in order to read my favourite writer, and it's set in space to boot (not my favourite setting for the franchise). But despite all that, I know it will be superb.
Apart from that... well, I may buy the Classics US books depending on what they reprint, though they're poor by Titan hardback standards. Doubt I'll be touching 'Robots in Disguise'.
What about the rest of you?
