help me out. My MSN messenger has been taken over by something that is typing malicious stuff in my name.

I believe it's a password thing rather than a virus, change your password and it should be ok I imagine

I did two. It's the weirdest thing having something type messages to your friends while you are helpless to stop it.

If it's happening when your computer is off, then definitely someone else [or a bot] logging in with your password. If it only happens when your computer is on, then it'll be a virus/trojan/etc problem.
