The train guard now says that neither he nor the driver have been told the train is cancelled so they've just decided to stop outside Preston. "Finding a Controller is harder than finding Elaine Maxwell" he said. Andu said he would pray for my journey. It has not worked.

Delay Repay claims already knocked back despite the company (TPE) literally cancelling all their trains to/from Edinburgh and being over an hour late each way with having to use other companies instead. What a joke. Surely if a company literally cancels all their services you would get your money back?

Touch wood - commuting by train the last week and no issues, the odd delay but still in time to start and always able to get away on time for the train back home.

Got off the train for work today to hear an announcement about ongoing delays at the stations I had just passed through due to signal failures etc.... My train was bang in time with no delays. I am beginning to suspect Ralph may be right and I have some untapped train correcting power.
