I do like how 1) this isn't news and how Denton station has been for a very long time and 2) doesn't make clear Denton has barely any scheduled stops or trains running physically through it for people to actually use.

As the article does say though hopefully it can have a proper future ahead of it. Denton is underserved by buses as well and needs something to re-energise it.

Back from Liverpool. Had planned to change at Birmingham, but apparently due to signal failures there were no trains from Birmingham to Cardiff today, so I avoided that mess and changed for a TfW service at Crewe instead.
