Doctor Who con. www.tenthplanetevents.co.uk/dimensions-2012-475-c.aspI've been wanting to go to a DW con for a while and that falls into the sweet spot of the right time of year for me relative to other trips and it's easy to get to/not too far or costly travel wise. Dimensions has a good rep so I'll give it a spin. And Uncle Tewwance, Davros and Benton are going. I shall be there. -Ralph |

I'm thinking about possibly attending this as well. It has been more years than I care to count since I have done a Who convention so it would be nice to do one again.

It looks like I am not going to be able to make it. Between one thing and another I am expecting some outlay in coming months on things for the house - carpets, carpet fitters and possibly finally a chair to replace the two seater sofa I inherited from my father over a decade ago (it has given good service, but I fear it is likely approaching its "maximum rated sitting hours"). The upshot is that when considering hotel costs, ticket costs and the like I can't guarantee being in a financial position to do it.
A shame, I really did want to do it this year. Ah well, always good to have an aspiration to leave on the table for the future.
