Not a bad episode, a bit slow but sets up the next ep quite well. Hoope for a up in pacing and a little less bitching between the Bots lol

Starscream's back!
Looks like a possible field trip to Cybertron is on the cards.
Happy with this starter ep. Looking forward to part 2

Damn. I have to wait until next week to continue the episode. It was enjoyable watching the Autobots at each others throats.

The forum started eating my posts last night so you have all missed out on my insightful review of this ep!
In short, it's very Prime. Nothing wrong with it, just very middle of the road still. I really really wish they'd stop using that EPIC MUSIC for everything, since it devalues actually exciting moments.
When you need to have really convoluted reasons for keeping the annoying kid characters around, you know you're in trouble!

Cant be bothered to write in three threads. Just finished part three, overall decent. Parts 1 and 2 held my interest more than three. On the whole not quite up to speed with the back end of season one which I was getting into. Agree on the music, over done, but the more I watch the more I like the animation, there is some real time and effort being spent on little touches that make a big difference. Having suffered through the whole range of animation errors and cost savings that is G1 season 3 Prime is making a refreshing change. Actually liked Jacks involvement in the plot, especially the pay off that Megatron doesn't even think it might be Jack he has to stop. I suppose it does show a lack of concern for humans but tactically made sense

I don't have enough to say about episodes two and three, in order to post in three threads.
I could barily tolorate Prime through season one. Everything about it was just... boring, lacking charm and charisma, and just... the textbook definition of mediocrity. Only one episode I can recall getting through without succumbing to bordom (Crisscross). But that was different with the season premier. Not only was I hooked until it ended, I actually wanted more.
Episodes two and three however dropped the ball for me. They both felt exactly like season one. And both episodes really could have been condensed into one without losing anything at all. (In fact, it would have been much improved)

I was thinking of starting a thread for part 3, but maybe its best to merge the two already done and change the title to parts 1-3 or something.
