A sad loss. I've always been impressed when I've seen his work.

Loved the Silver Surfer tale he did with Stan Lee.

Very sad news. I loved his work, and attended the exhibition at the Fondation Cartier in Paris 18 months ago (a few days after the birth of my daughter, who was born in the hospital next door). It was very, very good.
I got the first volume of his latest Arzak story, l'Arpenteur, and every time we've been back to Paris I've been asking at the local book shop when the next would be coming. I had no idea he wasn't working as he was ill.
Between this and Ralph McQuarrie, the world's collective visual imagination has taken a drubbing this past week.

This is sad news. He was one of the real auteurs of comics and will be sadly missed.
