In addition to fumbling about on my iPad drawing after a chat with Garry Bodsworth he sold me on the lcd tablet - the Boogie Board rip.Not as high tech or expensive as the iPad but because it's a non- capacitive touchscreen (you need a stylus) it's a bit more fun for sketching. A few samples: Anyhoo if you want to see more - then head to adturnbull.tumblr.com/Andy

Some nice little sketch pieces there Andy. The Boogie Board does seem to suit you and, having had a play about with it I can see how it could be a handy little tool.

It's such a nice wee bit of kit, and it's low tech enough that it's easy to use. Ralph liked it. The fact it reminded him of the padd's in Star Trek was of course not a factor. Andy

Nice stuff Andy. I do like the Kirby-Clash, it has a bit of dynamism to it. The Ultra Magnus is rather nice too.

Nice stuff - good expressive faces there, one irascible and the other looking like he is enjoying his work.
As to the idea of a Kirbyformers strip, I believe the vernacular is "Do Eeeeet!"

A few years ago I started doodling (digitally) a crossover between Death's Head and Strontium Dog (seeing as they are both bounty-hunters). Anyway I stumbled across these on my harddrive: TITLE PAGE 1 (ANGRY FACED JOHNNY ALPHA) TITLE PAGE 2 (GRIM FACED JOHNNY ALPHA) PAGE The idea was to do the story with minimal lines, and very flat looking a la Mick McMahon.
