Ok...when I first saw the toys for this, I was strangely attracted to them. The aesthetic is very, very similar to late G1 Transformers - particularly the 1988-89 Pretenders, Headmasters etc etc toyline...

Better still they are designed like old-school toys. No ball joints and very limited poseability - and old-style transformations!!

I thought though, that there would only be three of them - the Monkey/Truck, the car/robot and the rabbit/motorbike and their combined form...

But lo and behold - there are also going to be Insecticon-like Go-Busters which transform from insects, to construction vehicles, to robots!!

They look so...so...well...so much like somebody just dusted off some prototypes from G1 in 1988!!

I am really considering getting into this line! :-)

Relieved to find out this is being skipped as the 2015 Western adaptation, and that Saban are going for Kyoryuger instead as Power Rangers: Dino Charge.
