The second issue is out.
Really enjoying this, feels very much like the early issues of Titan's Transformers comic back in 2007. A lot of effort being put in here. The comic strip is being written by Ferg Handley (no stranger to licensed books having done GI Joe) with art by Cosmo White and colours by Kat Nicholson.
Wisely the established show villains have been kept to minimal appearances - Mumm Ra being a shadowy manipulator in the background in both issues. Although the Lizard men appear in this second issue, no Slythe or the likes.
Plus the free gift this issue is a bow and arrow set.
Worth checking out (WH Smith, supermarkets and the like).

I had a quick look through #10 in Forbidden Planet today. The artists and writers have put a lot of effort into earlier issues, so I was disappointing (although unsurprised) to see the comic strip had been dropped. A Google search reveals that next issue will be the last one.

It still impresses by being a comic that somehow was still being published after the actual strip content finished! It also outlasted the cartoon and toy line by several months!

I was gobsmacked when Ralph drew my attention to it. I feel we must all buy the last issue and give it a massive sales spike!

The only reason I stopped picking it up was because everywhere local stopped getting it in. In regards to the strip tho', I've heard mutterings that they might be getting collected later on...

It did seem to vanish from nearby.
Still if it's collected, that would be nice. Some very nice work from Cosmo and Kat.

Even up to now it has been extensively well stocked in Edinburger. Very easy to find. Unlike the TF comic. I only know that is still going because people here tell me it is!

Here's the Final Issue. www.thundercatslair.org/forums/showpost.php?p=88510&postcount=77I imagine it might be hard putting it on news-stands with the Thundertank bulging at the front. Can't be hard to spot, but I am guessing it has had a low print run to save a few pennies. I can't find the comic my end of the map either.

The covermount bulges no more than others of its ilk. Indeed, most kids mags have far more amounts of crap stuck to their cover. It's just the last issue of a dead comic. That's why it will be thin on the ground.

Spotted one copy in a WHSmiths in Edinburgh.
Next to some other kids comic that was giving away a crossbow about six times the size of the mini-Thundertank on the cover of Thundercats.

Picked it up today.
A comic without an actual comic. So bonkers!
