The first of 2 PCC Polls, this one focuses on the commanders. Minicons to follow. I'd do a combined robot one but let's face it it'd be a walkover for the Dinopope so.... See www.tfu.info/series/pcc.htm for pictures

I vote Sledge. Have always had a weakness for construction-themed TFs.
Searchlight, Undertow and Heavytread would be my next three. Maybe Heavytread has the edge there.

I only have 5, so I don't have a good sampling.
I aquired Steamhammer and the constructicons, which I didn't want, in order to get Heavytread (To be my stand in for Guzzle. Because I really don't like the cyberverse guzzle, it's so pathetically small, and horribly expensive for it's tiny size.) Also one of the lucky few americans who found the Dinobots in the wild. Undertow, I wanted because he's neat, and there's not enough boats. Was also really hoping for a Manta Ray repaint. And then there's Leadfoot, for being G2 (He was my first PCC.)
For the five, I hate the minicons. They're all completely worthless and do not work at anything they're ment to.
But they themselves are pretty good scouts. Heavytread is one of the best TFs in a while, and his combination gimmick doesn't impeed anything. So I vote for him.
Undertow and Grimstone are both really neat. Leadfoot is acceptible. He's not really remarkable, but he's far from bad. Steamhammer though is dull as hell. But he came with Heavytread, and the two together cost only $10 (Was a black friday sale), so I look at it as buying Heavytread and getting the constructicons for free.
But my vote's for Heavytread. I'll refrain from voting on the minicons, and allow those who enjoy them to have fun with it.

Narrowly I would have to vote for Skyburst here. He just comes out ahead of Skyhammer, but only by a nose (or more correctly, a set of shoulder pads).

yeah i have to jump on the band wagon and say if i had to choose one it would be heavy tread. he works in all three modes without sacrificing any intregrity of his other modes. plus i like flipping up his combined head when he is in robot mode giving him a chibi mode. plus he looks great with drones.
honerable mentions would have to be smolder/stakeout. stakeout was my first pcc and i got him just for the drones. i tossed stakeout in a box and forgot about him until oneday when i was moving some stuff around and came across him again. i transfomed him and liked his compact neat looking alt mode (always reminds me of ecto 1 from ghost busters) i tucked him in a pocket and goofed ooff with him all day. i soon fell in love with his cool raptor legs and samurai head. i couldnt stand his weird giant shoulders and since i transform him with his shoulders in tight i locve this guy. i still cant stand his combined mode tho so i cant rate him best.
also worth mentioning are skyhammer, who i picked up for his minicon, but i ended up liking skyhammers altmode so much that he has become one of my favorites. his bot mode is ok, kind of weird but ok. im still not sure about his motu man-e-faces face.
and finally crankcase. now crankcase has a great alt mode a good combined mode and his bot mode is ok. never liked his head. so i tore it off and replaced it with sledges head. this is much better! (plus it gives him the choice of using 2 heads in combined mode) i had to do some minor alterations but the end result is really cool.
the dinopope is cool but not my favorite combined form, and grimstone is ok on his own i guess. for me its heavy tread with two tank arms and two armoured carrier legs in alternae colours. so very very cool.

Smolder was my first PCC toy too and I think he's a great toy in his own right. Stakeout needs the rest of the black on the toy made blue

Grimstone, because his name sounds like a stoic Rock Lord.
