So a few months ago i was hoaking in my attic i decided to have a wee rumage through one of my boxes of Lego pieces and hey presto by pure chance i came across G1 Overlords small satelite dish which i never knew i was missing! Also found one of Snarls broken off back-plates (one still missing).
Three weeks ago i decided to go back up and throw away the plastic blisters from my Generations/Universe packaging and decided to have another go to see if i could find anymore Transformer goodies. Just out of pure chance i decided to search this box which seemed to contain just my sisters things - it was then i made a discovery that left me so shocked and elated to find it i had a tear in my eye! How it ended up in one of her boxes i'll neverknow.
And to think i almost bought one of Bogatan or Blueshift last year. Yep i found Overlords cannon! Long thought lost to the trash alongside his wee grey cab, i was able to essentially complete my Overlord over than that wee grey cab and his cannon missiles.
He looks soo fricking amazing and much more menacing and larger with his cannon. And another discovery came two days ago...
...two days ago i recieved Encore Metroplex in the post. I opened it up, put him together and looked at his missile sprue. Yes Metroplex's missiles work with Overlords cannon so you'd think i give them to Overlord and hope no-one would ever notice?
Never had too....
Just looking at the missiles on the sprue made me realise that for years i unwittingly still had one of my Overlord's cannon missiles, and having got it out from a box of stuff in my shed and making sure it fitted i'm glad to say my Overlord is ready to kick ass once again with his cannon... and a cannon that actually has a missile to fire!
And for the record if Encore Metroplex's missiles are the same as the original G1 Metroplex's, then Overlord's missiles AREN'T the exact same. They are the same overall length and missile head design but the bottom end clip indents are of different lengths.
Hell yeah!
