The cost of all that Tat

I was just idling wondering, if someone had bought one of every single bit of merchandise with the "Transformers" name on it from last year from retail outlets, how much it would have cost them in total.

Any ideas? Rough guess?

Having had a lot of it wholesale, I haven't really looked at the prices and I dread to think what I have actually spent on them. I have avoided thinking about it, really.

Just the Barrel Roll Blaster, Big Rig Blaster and Beatmix Bumblebee would cost £100 at retail.

I've probably spent about £25-£30 on birthday cards alone. I have six items currently on display that would have cost nearly £100 at full price. (I bought them in the sales.)

Considering there are big-ticket items such as a bicycle (£100) and the electric sit-on cars (I can't remember their prices), I should think you could clock up £4000 very quickly at a conservative estimate.

Depends where you get it from. Transformers bags if you go to Toysrus you pay £10 but you can get them for £3 elesewhere. Then TF4 pencil sets £4 or £1 in Boyes £1.50 Morrisons.

Boyes is a shop chain we don't have up here as yet. It is very much the typical cheap-and-cheerful "small town department store" kind of thing (kind of like a sawn-off T K Maxx). I remember the one Billingham in the North East from when my mother lived there, always a good place for cheap household goods when you needed new saucepans or a shower curtain on a tight budget. Their reach pretty much ended on the "Newcastle Meridian" years back, but I think that they may be starting to advance northwards a bit now.

I think Boyes is mainly local to yorkshire area east coast. Ones in Scarborough, york, brigg, gainsborough, doncaster, grimsby, bridlington, cleethorpes I think ones in lincoln, louth

They do have botshots & pen sets in stock. They had (gainsborough branch reported few months back) £2 tf4 mini Kreo sets but all sold out.

What is the rare not seen by anyone else tat? I did see the Soundwave drawing set but I don't think i've ever seen a photo of it online - just going to search.

I've found a picture here tfwiki.net/wiki/Soundwave_(G1)/toys Transformers design centre. But is there anything rare compared to that one?
