Phew my expensive import should arrive just before the easily purchased domestic release. Not a total waste of money then.
And YESS!!! Acid Storm is coming out over here too.
Apparently the random green repaint of a toy that they didnt want to release and that came close to shelf warming in the US is worth releasing.

Considering how much the two pack minions are, just over three figures for MP Soundwave with all 5 cassettes I don't find toooo bad. Will he come down in price any? Will this set be readily available? Will the UK ever win the Eurovision Song Contest? Will William Shatner ever play Captain Kirk again?

TRU do a 20% off weekend every so often, 3 or 4 times a year it seems. And they may always do another buy one get one half price.

So... who's going to keep an eye out for a 3 for 2 in Toys'r'us on MP Soundwave? I don't mind doing what I did for MP Prime again, but bear in mind I'll be in a different city from the people who very kindly let me use their discount card last time.

He's lovely IMO, dude, and worth getting. I got a Takara Soundwave/Laserbeak early doors, then waited and waited for TRU to go cheaper... but they didn't, and I had to prowl on ebay for a loose cassettes.

Kapow are showing that MP Soundwave is getting an Asia reissue later this year. The box shows it's a straightforward reissue of the previous Hasbro release with the cassettes, same design (I'd embed the Facebook post, but I don't know how you get a link to an actual post in Facebook, Phil?). But - there's a black rectangle in the image - the usual greyed out Asia exclusive add-on item. I'm wondering if that's going to be Ratbat because it looks like a cassette box.
