I hope this will happen, but I won't believe it until I see it.
Everyone needs Fraggles in their lives.

Hmmm, but will it based on the puppet or animated version?

Has to be puppet, an animated Fraggle movie would be a crime against nature.

Young Ralph enjoyed the animated version as much as the puppets show. Not revisited it as an adult as yet.

I am only peripherally aware that there even was an animated Fraggle Rock. I know of it by repute, rather than having seen it back in the day.
Quite enjoyed the puppet version - Doozers were great.

But whatever version of Fraggle Rock you have someone is going to be disapointed in the light house keeper. Not only were there several, they were different in different countries

I didn't know Doc and Sprocket were replaced in other countries. Doesn't surprise me, but I feel somewhat dissapointed for those who didn't get them. They were some of the best parts.

*Visits Wikipedia* The DVDs don't have the lighthouse keeper? I... I don't think I want the DVDs any more. I remember those scenes probably better than the puppet scenes. It wouldn't be right with other characters. I had no idea there were different versions. I'd always assumed that there were British humans because it was made in Britain, like The Muppet Show. No wonder the DVD of the UK episodes costs so much: www.amazon.co.uk/Fraggle-Rock-DVD-Jim-Henson/dp/B0000BK6SA/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1339534261&sr=8-7

Now that I know Fraggle Rock has cultural and regional adaptations, I want to see them!

I have season 1 on DVD. Fun stuff. Weird without the lighthouse keeper, but the inventor guy is pretty good.

Huh. At first I was extremely puzzled, but the more I think about it, and equate it to things like the wiggles, I can see what they're going for. Unfortunately, I don't think this will likely play out "for all ages" as much as Fraggle Rock did.
