Love the way when the guy is stopped in his routine he has to go back and repeat the previous line to remind himself where he's got to.

Still learning this era - is that tiger stripe Megatron the one that didn't come out because when it did it was the purple one instead? Which I now have as RID Bludgeon in yellow?

No - the tiger striped one was planned to come out in 1995 (after the purple one) but was cancelled - along with the Stealth Assault, Auto Roller and Laser Cycle recolours. We got the Cyber jet and Gobot recolours though! I didn't realise how nice the tiger striped Megatron looked. |

We're now in a cycle of Laser Optimus Primes being continuously updated, in addition to Dreadwing, when what I really want is a decent G2 Megatron and the Laser Rods.

Love that some one really wanted to bring back Roller.
I wonder if Hot Rodimus started life as Roller? No, not a Phils Mad theory, HR is clearly Hot Rod, but I wonder if a roller Micromaster started out in his place. Certainly wouldnt look out of place with some of the other MMs packaged with the big chaps.

I mean that sounds about right for him. But yeah, I can see that happening, with the Micromaster companion starting as Roller and then being replaed with Hot Rod because of name recognition.
Or does this shed a light on something darker? The implication here that the original G1 Roller was actually an upgrade of Roller. Which means that when Optimus Prime died and passed on the Matrix to a "chosen one" he was actually passing it on to... himself! It was all just a massive scam!
