Which version of Dark of the Moon did/will you choose to watch? I saw it in 3D. (I might see it again in 2D if my Dad wants to see it; he didn't want to see it in 3D.) It look really good in 3D. There are some stand out scenes (those that made a particular impact on me were Wang sticking his guns out of the screen and the bird's eye view of the flight suits) but overall, I don't think the 3D adds all that much. Or, rather, I don't think the 3D version would be better than 2D, or vice versa. (Not that I've yet seen the 2D to compare.) But then, I'm not really sold on the whole 3D concept - I've only seen Avatar and Tron Legacy before and they were on IMAX - and I'd only choose to watch a film that was conceived, made and intended by the filmmakers to be 3D. Ideally, I'd have preferred to have seen it in IMAX, but it's not showing here. (Evil Odeon Cardiff Bay!)

I never really cared much for the idea of 3D, but I couldn't really judge it without giving it a go first. The first time I did try it was at my friends house a few days ago as he got a 3D TV. It looked an interesting gimmick, but with DOTM being one of the few films to be shot with intention to be in 3D, I had to give it a go.
While some shots looked good, I am still not sold on the concept. Plus I kept having to readjust the glasses every so often as I found that they started to get irritating.

I'll watch it in 2D - or do the 3D glassess [they are those black ones or the paper green/red?]
I could watch it but expect that i'd miss most stuff in the background unless they clip onto your glassess. Or do you sit with them on infront of your glasses or behind? But last time I wa sin cinema was watching ROTF June 2009 & your head hurts when you come out into the sun.
