Do you think that they might do an animated one - how Transformers, ROTF & 3 are all live action while Transformers The Movie was animated.

They could do a follow on to the original animated Movie & call it Transformers the Movie 2.

but with events happening [first in 2005 - 1986] 2033 - 2014 following on from series 4 - picking characters from headmasters rebirth & which ever lines, so could be G1 Bludgeon in the film.

Nice idea, but wishful thinking. Not going to happen. Why would Hasbro finance a film full of 20+ year old toys?

But just think - the writer is progressing the story in that same universe but is able to use the character that came later on from 87. But the characters would be unpdated, that Bludgeon would be more like IDW than Marvel.

so you could say its the IDW movie - but following on 20 years after the events in the first movie.

Hmmm... But you might as well just ask for an IDW-based movie in that case.

Like it or not, Hasbro/Paramount/Dreamworks have come up with a formula that sells tickets and toys. That's not going to change.
