... The Dark of the Moon.
I quite like it. And I think that's been the title of a couple of novels and a play in the past.
Is Beast Wars II's Moon character gonna show up as the main villain?

The Dark of the Moon? Er, ok. Wasn't expecting anything like that. Intruiging though in a 'Oh Dear God I Hope it's Not as Sh1t as the Second Film' kinda way.

Depending on the toilet humour, it could be Shia LaBeouf's bare arse. In IMAX. In 3D.

It's actually the long-awaited arrival of Movieverse Unicron, who moons the planet Earth. The 'dark' is the crack in his arse.

I don't know if we will see Unicron, but there will be a hidden tribe of Transformers hiding out on the moon I reckon.

Thinking on it from a studio/marketing point of view, the title does seem to word associate with recent popular films that might share Transformers' perceived target audience:
Dark = The Dark Knight Moon = Twilight New Moon

Is Beast Wars II's Moon character gonna show up as the main villain? Maybe the plot will be him sending an army of Decepticons to steal all the cake on Earth.... Karl

Possibly.
If this is the title, it has a poetry to it and an enigmatic quality that I did not expect from this rather, well, not terribly literate fim series. Kudos is due if it is the title. Bit better than MEGATRON WILL GET YOU or SHOCKWAVE THE EVIL BAD ROBOT MAN'S TERRIBLE VENGEANCE OF UTTER BADNESS or SAM STRIKES BACK or whatever.
