Purchased in Woolies in Skipton, if memory surves me correctly! He's up for trade, for the right item... No, it's alright, I've got him now. Grr. Jaymz had him too! I don't recall seeing any Elites. Personally, I probably wouldn't have wanted them anyway, as I don't think I really saw the point of Action Masters that transformed - quite the opposite of the usual attitude! That, and they looked quite naff transformed. The exception may have been "Scorponok", which is who I thought Double Punch was for years - right up to last year, in fact, when I actually got him and looked him up on TFU.

I might have seen one of them once, but then Im still 100% convinced I saw a Evil (purple for red) Jetfire repaint at the same shop when I was 5 or 6. I think they drugged the air.

When I read that, I almost spat out my tea in laughter. I had a sudden image of Transformers versions of Buddy Christ.

Imagine Megatron giving a wink with the thumbs up! Sorry I've interferred with your A.M. collection, And! I'm just after Prime and Megs now. That'll complete the little 'set' that I'm after. My Prowl is a little worst for wear, so may get another one of him for my Great Prowl Display! Ian

Prime is a curious one. As a couple of people have mentioned, he tends to fall apart. This is because the top front of his legs are square. They therefore lever against the torso and pop off when you try to put him in a seated position. Which is unfortunate given his vehicle requires him to sit to drive it.

The one that came with the New Year 2002 Convoy doesn't suffer from the same problems, thankfully. Well, not mine anyway. -Ralph

Without wanting to get into the contentious title debate we had some time ago, I'm curious how the majority of people refer to Action Masters/Actionmasters when writing the name.
In the same way that I had always read the series logo as "Transformers" split over two lines (whilst others read it as "Trans Formers"), I read the sub-line logo as "Actionmasters" split over two lines rather than "Action Masters"; this was also consistent with previous "-masters" ranges. I've noticed in a couple of threads over the last few days that everyone other than me in those threads were using "Action Masters"; TFWiki also uses two words.
I'm not looking for any definitive, "correct" format, just wondering what most people use.

If TFWiki parses it as two words, that's good enough for me. They do their research.
Plus I think it's two words on all the official Hasbro stuff, like boxes and whatnot.

Didn't really know where else to put this so resurrecting a dead thread.
Received my first Action Master, Starscream. I like him more than I thought I would.
However, his right arm and leg do not want to stay attached. They are ball and socket joints to a degree, but don't look like they'll get fixed with the modern day nail polish/super glue joint tightening strategy.
Thoughts on how to fix?

A wise move. Seller has said they'll send me a replacement as they realise that I mainly bought it for the complete set of accessories and the figure on its own is fairly low cost.

Did anyone read the coverage of the Hasbro Intellectual Property Panel at Botcon 2011? Link here if not. Main point from it is the info on what didn't make it into the TF Vault book, including: Action Master Mirage, Action Master Smokescreen (new mold), Cliffjumper (new mold), AM Rumble, AM Blurr. I'd like to see a book focusing on the toys, including pictures of these unreleased items [and the many others out there].

I caught that section the new actionmasters looked really good. More along the lines of Sideswipe than the earlier classic figures. Cliffjumper from memory was especially nice.

So today i recieved the parts to complete the Action Master Otpimus Prime i bought last year. The Optimus Prime figure has severely loose legs so i got a screwdriver and removed his back screw and opened him up. I discovered Action Masters use what they call a hook and o-ring mechanism the same as G.I. Joe action figures.
The o-ring in Optimus Prime had snapped meaning the leg bar hook was loose hence the leg looseness.
Now whilst looking through eBay for o-rings, i don't know what size is exactly or roughly needed to repair Optimus or any Action Master's o-ring mechanism.
Anyone have a clue?

I took an action master apart once. Think it was Blaster - its a little coat hanger type thing linking their legs - but do the gijoe ones use the same size?
