The Nebulan that Michael Bell voiced was in the Sunbow 'toon, where he was green-skinned. Therefore it's quite correct to have Gort depicted so on the image.

Yomotov f***ed up randomly. I think consistantly colouring something that way for a 4 issue limited series and a number of regular issues would indicate that he's getting right.
Or are you telling me Optimus Prime is meant to be bright magenta?

I don't think anyone is arguing that Marvel Nebulans aren't green.

Phil just needs to accept a love of the Green. Funny how this tirade comes just after he watched Green Lantern.
Some misplaced anger methinks!

If Marvel Nebulans were green, Lord Zarak, Kreb, Lokos and Brisko wouldn't have been able to pass themselves off as Mr Z, Mr K, Mr L and Mr B of the Z Foundation. Rather the Road-Jammers' dialogue would have gone something like this:
"AAARRRGGGHHH! GREEN! KILLITKILLITKILLIT!"
And I don't recall that happening.

And a race that is masters of disguise and deception couldn't have invented a little skin pigmentation alterer? Hey, if Professor X can come up with them...

TFWiki refers to the cartoon characters as Nebulons and the comic characters (and all other material) as Nebulans. We could therefore say that Nebulons are green, Nebulans are not. However, there appears to be no evidence to confirm or contradict the cartoon spelling as canonical and it may just be fan error. tfwiki.net/wiki/Nebulan

I uphold the right of the cartoon to portray the people of its Nebulos as green.... If they wish to be so very wrong then they must have the freedom to do so. After all, liberty is nothing if not the freedom to make mistakes.
More to the point, the fact that The Hive were apparently withered and emaciated makes me fear what kind of painfully impractical muscle-development they had before they wasted away to the more-pumped-than-Ahnult levels they were reduced to....

I reckon cartoon Nebulons are like birds- biologically incapable of storing excess energy as fat so if they are kept confined and unable to fly or exercise, they just lay down more and more muscle fibre until they are so heavy and musclebound they can no longer fly. Thus, the long years of inactivity have left the Hive so Conan-ed up that they can barely move. -Nick

Did you get this angry when they made Nick Fury a black man, Phil? No, because Samual L Jackson & the Ultimate Comics version is a good portrayal. The Green Nebulans are just f***ing s***.
