If they were all green with envy, isn't that something of a hive mentality?

The Nebulans were green because they were envious. Pete Of the real nebulans who WEREN'T GREEN and WEREN'T so damned ugly! I'll take my Lord Zarak and Hi-Q not green, please! Seriously. There was nothing in the cartoon that the comics didn't do better.

The Japanese done things much better by not having any little green men or any other sort of squishy lifeforms. They were robots who became bigger robots.
Okay in Masterforce they did use humans, but that series was awesome so it is allowed to get away with using squishy people.

I can confirm that Andu can still narrate all the dialogue of The Rebirth Part 1 in synch to the pictures. Impressive.

I wouldn't have minded the Nebulans being green in the cartoon if they were still the same characters as the comics.
