Once more the shadowy cabal of wastrels, borderline pyschotics and alcohol/irn-bru fuelled misanthropes are coming to Auto Assembly. Once again we'll be selling many plastic robots in order to raise money for Mary's Mealsand hope that you will see fit to empty your bank accounts with us. Stock lists will be coming in the next day or so, as well as news regarding the splendid raffle and equally splendid prizes that can be won. Image art courtesy of Gav Spence.

I should point out that the fists on the pencil case are erasers, and if you mount them on the pegs that insert into the arms they can launch from a trigger at the side. Take the fists off and store them under the cab in truck mode and you can use the pegs as handy, dandy Decepticon-seeking* missile launchers.
Also, the watch packaging declares it a Woolworths exclusive and as such it is a cultural artifact as well as a swanky fashion accessory.
Also also these are the LEAST of the prizes on offer through Tat Roulette. Greater prizes will be revealed the closer we get to the convention, with the grand prize to be unveiled on Friday the 3rd of August, the first day of Auto Assembly.
Don't forget that in addition to Tat Roulette we will have our usual trouser-shattering selection of toys and merchandise from across the globe and history of Transformers. Brace yourselves (and your trousers) and come and see us. A downloadable (though very incomplete as there are donations still coming in) stock list will be made available soon.

A partial stock list can be downloaded from here www.star-dub.com/files/Toy-Fu2012.xlsDisclaimer from Toy-Fu himself: "Here you go. Doesn't include all of Andy T, Karl or Ralph's donations because they were already boxed up and in the attic when I updated the list. This in no way diminishes their worth and is simply because I couldn't face hauling them back down the ladder just to bring them back up so close to bringing them all down to ship down south. Worth mentioning that the unlisted selection contains Andy K's no doubt monumental catalogue and further donations/stock from Adam White, Kapow Toys and anybody else who cares to rock up. Undocumented current stock includes a plethora of figures and playsets from Legend to Leader class and everything in between (except ultras, I think) across 3 movies, Power Core Combiners (2 and 5 figure sets) and the new Transformers Prime Cyberverse selection." Cheers Andy. So, are you taking reservations on anything, Nick, or is it a scrum on the day?

My favourite part is always Friday night when people see exactly what they want but aren't allowed to buy anything.
Seeing them calculate just how early they will have to be up the next morning to be at the front of the line fills me with joy.
Does that make me a bad person?

Does that make me a bad person? Good, bad.... these are such culturally normative words....... I think my favourite part is probably the mad scramble when trading opens. I get a bit of a semi-masochistic buzz from that which is hard to beat. Karl

I believe Simon's plan is to have the dealer room open between 7 and 8 on the Friday. Given that Toy-fu usually makes about 2/3 of its money in the first 90 minutes on Saturday, I have no idea how this will affect us. Some attendees may not even have arrived by then.
Glaug- it's gonna be a scrum either way. What did you have your eye on?

I've been looking for a TM Cyclonus body for a looong time. Since I picked up my second Stepper/Ricochet reissue, in fact! After a Longrack and Stampy also, but they are much, much easier to pick up, as is Overdrive.

After a Longrack and Stampy also, but they are much, much easier to pick up, as is Overdrive. TM Cyclonus can't hold the reissue version of the TM gun without one of them being altered. Peg hole isn't deep enough on the fist to hold the 5mm portion of the handle. I also found the gun wouldn't stay in place in jet mode.

I also found the gun wouldn't stay in place in jet mode. I'm well aware. Likely going to cut the 3mm peg, but need to get my hands on one first and check.

TOY-FU SATURDAY ONLY PRIZE Now we are aware that there are a few attendees of Auto Assembly who can only make it for the one day, and that day is usually the Saturday, so to make sure everyone gets a chance of winning, we have aSaturday only prize. Some original art from the Marvel UK Transformers comic. Specifically page 5 of The Double Deal of the Century. Written by Simon Furman and drawn by Andy Wildman.
