Donating my KREO sets and minifigs. I've just never been happy with the quality of it, compared to LEGO. But might be good pound bin stuff for the kiddies.

I couldn't believe how popular those junk boxes were! Nor I after I revealed the first box sometime Saturday afternoon, the rest were instantly attacked and really weren't left alone again for the rest of the weekend.

You brought in about two and a half grand from your own patch, and while you did shift an impressive amount of boxed, carded and loose items the junk trays brought in a hell of a lot of interest. Educated guess I'd say you took about five hundred quid from the salvage boxes. Said boxes had added value that would be difficult to quantify because they kept people at the stall with all the flashy stuff at eye level while they were rummaging -Nick It was more like two grand and the more I think about it, I think the junk boxes were probably more than £500. Which is brilliant really because I was roughly selling that stuff for twice or more what I paid for it, or at least what I would usually pay. Much better than the 10-25% mark up the club exclusives and carded stuff was going for. But oh man, I did not get rid of enough of them, just started moving the boxes of Transformers to the loft and its taking forever.

Damn near ended myself carting stuff through to the Turnbull. They are the first donations and I will likely have another pile to go by end of next month.
We'll be looking to much increase the supply of good quality donations for 2013, but more of that as we go along.

I'm a bit surprised at how much good stuff Nick had left, I didnt look when it was being packed and assumed it was mostly just junk. Theres still quite a few nice donated items left and other odds and ends.

I shall be going up into my loft in the next few weeks to bring down some boxes and sort through for possible donations. What is up there.... I'm not entirely sure. It will be a voyage of discovery!

I am currently underway on a grand decluttering and am sure I will have some donations to make - are there any particular things that are[n't] looked for?
