I've just read the Matt Marshal text story and have to say it's the funniest thing I've read all year! Not many things make me laugh out that loud anymore so top marks! Out of interest - was it something actually from your younger years tweaked for the fanzine? If not then it takes some skill to create something that retro that we were all probably guilty of writing back in our youth. I just can't say how much it has made me laugh!
( Of course, apologies if it was meant to be serious - if it was it might be worth forwarding for the next film.)

Loved the fact your tale was also an ad for Transtrip.
Genius.
Please now scan in all the old issues so we can read them!

No no, it was actually written specially for the fanzine! I was so worried people would hate it and I would embaress myself

Loved the fact your tale was also an ad for Transtrip. Genius. ! Andy Thanks! It was also supposed to be a bit of a tribute the old 1 page Marvel UK comic ad' with Ultra Magnus. That's why Double Punch uses his transformation to knock the enemy over in one panel.

I picked that up when I was reading it.
Really fun stuff.

The Matt Marshall contribution was absolutely marvellous. Gloriously and uninhibitedly daft. Completely out of left-field, but such a pleasant surprise.
There was a lot of good stuff in the 'zine - and it was nice to be a contributor and yet still have no idea what else was going to be in there. It made for a fun voyage of discovery.
