UK Annuals

This is the first year since 2006 that we have not had a Transformers annual released in the UK around now. We had annuals in 85-91 [#1-7], G2 annual 94/95, Armada 2003, Energon 2004,
2007-2011
2007 - Movie
2008 - Animated
2009/2010 - ROTF
2011 - DOTM

So no TFP annual. The 2002 RID annual was cancelled before release.

But the UK annuals are just about Transformers - we have others out there too. Most being reprint stuff but UK ones do have new stuff in them. I looked in this years Marvel annuals & they do reprint some GB's character & place layout.

But are UK hard backed annuals a good thing or should they be like normal comics?

UK hard-backed annuals would be a great thing if they were more like they were when I were a lad. All original content without the garishness turned to 11.
