Only the Bumblebee you asked me to pick up. I've been to the local Dollar General every Saturday since I got here. They get the new stock in on Fridays but no new legends so far. If you like I'll start poking around on eBay and Us online stores.
Nothing new to report over here. The first Fall of Cybertron wave is everywhere and is $15. Plenty of Prime stuff- still wave 1 deluxes and voyagers, plus legends, weaponisers and Optimus Maximus.
Plenty of exciting Lego gear too. Not much by way of Marvel toys now apart from the odd Avengers figures.

Hey Nick - I hate to pile another request on you when you clearly already are under a mountain of them - but if you see the Transforming remote control Bumblebee over there - any chance you could help a fella out *flutters eyelashes*
I'm keeping my eyes peeled over here, but my hopes aren't high!

Dezzeh- The nearest Toys'r'us (only stockist of MP TC that I know of) is nearly 60 miles away at the far side of Des Moines. I can order one online and get it posted to me then shipped on with the first UK care package if you like. I believe Mr Bogatan is already having one sent to me.
Marc- I think I might actually have seen the remote control Bumblebee you're talking about at Target. I'll have a look next time I'm down that way.

Nick - if you hook me up you will be whatever the rank above legend is!
Remind me - are you in Iowa City, Iowa? Its the state over from Illinois, I haven't been in Chicago for work since 2010, but there is always chat about going over - if I do get over, must road trip or something to meet up. Hope college life is treating you well!
Marc.

Marc- guess what I found at Target. I believe the term is "Armgend".
By the by, I'm in Ames rather than Iowa City. It's about 35 miles north of Des Moines. There's not much out here apart from the university and the shops. And the post office, naturally. And Dollar General that I'll swing by in the morning as has become my routine.
Speaking of which, Bogatan, Dezzeh- am I ordering two MP Thundercrackers for you guys?

Nick - woop woop! (took me a second to convent Legend to armgend!
I actually looked up Ames at work yesterday, yikes! That is totally the middle of nowhere! I hope you get along well with the folks in college because its a trek anywhere else. When working in the states I'm way in the north Chicago suburbs, but there is loads to do and City center Chicago is 40 minutes away by train.

It's in stock online, and there's free shipping on all items over $49. www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12885992Is that price right? Did it really retail at a hundred bucks for a scaled-down version of something that was in Wal-mart for $50 4 years ago? Gah- it's one per customer. Hopefully that just means one per order. We'll see. -Nick

Don't hitch a ride! You'll be manhandled by hillbillies! It's Iowa. There aren't any hills. I toured the local toy emporia searching for new things after checking out Dredd at the local cinema. I saw Prime Ratchet and Arcee for the first time in Wal-mart, along with voyager Starcream and Bulkhead. No sign of the new Generations set. They also had a big selection of Avengers figures including the Chitauri Warrior, Black Widow, Hawkeye and I think Nick Fury. Target was pretty much empty apart from 5 FOC Jazzes. K-mart didn't have much and even still had a solitary ROTF Skidz sitting there all forlorn and dusty. They also had a stack of the Marvel Captain America/Captain Britain/Red Guardian 3-pack on reduction. Same 3 Legends in Dollar General. -Nick

I can't start on the mail order brides until I've found Phil's legends. Still nothing new in Dollar General, although everybody except the Megatron has now sold. The two Phil asked me to get on eBay have arrived but the rest have yet to surface. Not much to report from today's recon. Target have put out a few more FOC deluxes and had a single Sergeant Kup and Vehicon in the Prime selection. Plenty of Rescue Bots gear in Target and Wal-mart if anyone's looking for anything specific. The usual selection of Avengers figures. If anyone wants a Sam L Fury, Black Widow or Chitauri warrior give us the nod. James O or any Star Wars fans may be interested in two new exclusive 3-packs I saw in Target, too. They were $24.99. One set had Boba Fett, a Sandperson and a "Snaggletooth". The other pack contained three droids- a Death Star Droid, a Gonk/Power Droid and an R4 unit. Oh, there was this thing as well. Matt and any Bronies out there: there were two little posters at the side of the MLP end-cap in Wal-mart. One was the "Royal Wedding" poster and had all the characters in their finest regalia in Canterlot Castle. The far more important other one had the banner "Chaos is Magic" and featured all the villains in the show so far, from Discord to the Diamond Dogs, Quarry Eels, Timberwolves and the mean pegasus boys who made fun of Fluttershy in a flashback once. There are no barcodes on them so they're either complimentary or free with a purchase or something. If anyone is interested give a shout. -Nick
