I still patiently await my copy. I imagine they are going out in order received when Mr Stringer can get to the Post Office!

One whole-page strip is completely in rhyme for no good reason. Fab-a-doobrey!

I loved reading mine at the weekend. Funny thing is, I was never an Action Force reader but a few of the strips were total memory joggers. It's possible of course I had a few issues and have just forgotten but I wonder if they were reprinted anywhere else at the time.
Suppose I should just ask Lew.

I think some TF collected comics reprinted a few Combat Colin strips and maybe even the main comic did too.

The Aunt Arctic / Kung-Fu Penguins story was reprinted in Transformers one issue, as I recall, as a five-page back-up strip all in one go.
And Lew did do a Combat Colin reprint special earlier this century.

I think there were also some reprints in the Marvel Bumper comic.

I may have also had an issue or two of Bumper Comic (as Lew pointed out to me on twitter), another UK comic I'd forgotten about.

I still have my #1 of the Marvel Bumper Comic from back in the day. For years I had assumed it was just a one-off special as I never saw any other issues!

I've just bought a few issues of Meltdown on eBay, a book I saw advertised but never on the racks. Discovered that Meltdown and Havoc were testers for the Overkill project to see whether monthly or weekly was best for such an anthology.

Was Havok weekly? I thought it was fortnightly but my memory may be wrong. I think it only lasted for 11 pages before vanishing.
Meltdown just had 5 issues though IIRC at least it mentioned in #5 that it was cancelled.
