Do any of you fine gentlemen have a scan of the one page comic advert that was used to advertise the Beast Wars pc game?
Had some spiffy Geoff Senior art as I recall.

It might be worth asking Sven or Simon.

Thanks guys, I'd spied them on the wiki.
I used to have a copy of a magazine with the page in, but I will be damned of I can find it.

I found a scan lying around in one of my many "to be sorted" folders. Uploaded here

Surely that's not the original text?! How'd that get past Hasbro?!

Surely that's not the original text?! How'd that get past Hasbro?! Yes it is. I guess cos it was appearing in video games/lads mags at the time, trying to entice the older game player. Andy

Oh, hang on. For a moment I forgot about Spike's infamous dialogue in Transformers The Movie. Hasbro obviously likes a tactical s**t from time to time.

I have a Jack Lawrence version of this somewhere. He was so appalled at the thing that he redrew it and sent it to the publishers to show them how it should be done.

I think the text varied depending on the games magazine, I remember it without the swear word for some reason....

It's not the best, but it was a new page of Transformers comic art by Geoff.
What's not to love?

But now that Modern Geoff has learned to draw again, I have no need for Inferior Geoff.

Oh that was still good Geoff. That was done in what 1997 I think, before the RTOP Geoff.

I am sorry, Andu, but this advert is Inferior Geoff.

No it's still good in places. The scan doesn't do it full justice, some nice painted art.

I was unaware that page was drawn by Geoff. I am with Ralph on this.

At the time it was awesome. It was a hastily done UK only ad for a video-game that was barely functional as a TV show/toy tie-in, I enjoyed it for what it was.
Also the game was totally pants and I never got past the bit where you had to make an impossible leap across lava!
