I do wish they hadn't called it a 'Studio Series' Optimus Prime . . .

There are seven in the Bury Smyths where Ralph will not go. But... but will I tomorrow? I could do with a TF stationary restock too.

I have very good reasons for never wishing to set foot in Bury ever again for the rest of my life.
The Stockport Smyths is very difficult to get to on public transport from my place. I have to sweet talk Mrs Ralph for a lift when I want to go.
The Oldham one is a pain to get to as well!

Argos has various TFONE items on their website. Naturally, not one of them is in stock.

The Oldham one is a pain to get to as well! -Ralph From there you'd probably need to go to Manchester and then back out to Stockport I would have thought - which would be a pain. I can see why you wouldn't want to do that. Karl

He could get the 343 to Hyde and pick another bus from there straight to the car park at Smyths. He should not try the bus from Ashton again. Ever.
Alternatively he can persuade Jen to take him. As he has done. Winner!

Ok. Now it is a super team up! Merrifields and Burns on the hunt together!
Will N and Joy's awesome robot finding skills negate Ralph's Autonomous Robot Reflector Ranger abilities??

Found a TFONE SS Optimus Prime in Smyths and a splendid haul of G1 style stationery, a drinks bottle and lunch bag in The Range. Still no success finding Hot Wheels Optimus Prime or either version of Bumblebee. -Ralph

I should accompany you more often.
And you got a step closer to Prime. His wavemates were all there! Onwards. Upwards!

A shame. They've been a fixture for rather a long time. Sad to see them go.

I see them on the comic con circuit and there's a post on the BGCP page (https://www.facebook.com/BGCPComicCon - sorry, I can't seem to share the specific post) that suggests they'll still be doing that: "Sad to see the shop go but you can catch A1 Toys at BGCP Comic Cons all over Scotland." Their Static Games shop is staying open, which perhaps reflects what's currently most profitable in the geek sector.

Yeah, I saw that Static was still open. Which is nice to see - very fond memories of that place. And a lot of the stuff that is still on my gaming shelves has come from there over the years.

My local store has been without shelf-warming one-step changers for a couple of months now. It's about time they got some more! Or will get some more. Eventually.
