Ooh, well done. That's an unexpected find; I thought Early Learning Centre only stocked their own brands.

They had animated a few years ago.
They do carry other branded stuff: Thomas the Tank Engine springs to mind

Am I the only one bored with the Prime and Soundwave re-issues, surely there have been enough of them, although I might be confusing the myriad of Japanese ones with a relative paucity of Western ones?

Soundwave's last Hasbro release was in 2007, at the end of Classics and just in time for the first movie. I remember us putting them out on the feature wall in Toys'r'us. Optimus Prime was out before I worked at Toys'r'us, putting it at 2003. 5 years and 9 years. Yeah.
Apologies in advance, Matt!

Was there not a Prime that came after the 2003 one? It came with a comic and sound box (and with a DVD in the states).
I like that these toys keep getting outings as there are always new fans coming in or who missed them previously and it says something about their quality that they are still viable toys after almost 30 years. Nostalgia aside, there aren't many toys of that vintage that would still work in today's market. I presume they still sell, otherwise I can't think why they keep coming back.

I've already got them and have had for a month!
But others (Andu) might want them. They are very nice.

Year of the Snake Optimus Prime and Omega Supreme up for preorder on Amazon US. $80 and $100 respectively.
I'll risk holding off and getting one or both as cheap as Year of the Dragon and Jetwing Optimus.

The Abominus limbs pre-order works out at around £11.50 a figure with the cheapest shipping option! I hope all waves will turn up in the shops over here, it's one of the few things I really want to get this year.

I've got a case from Robotkingdom with 4 of them in and Wave 2 from BBTS. Do not trust Hasbro UK on this one.
As I said above it's Easter and there's no real new TFs out there.

Kind of relevant, I was browsing Amazon Japan just now and noticed that you now have the option to display the site in English. Whats more, you can sign up with a British address and some items are available to order internationally. Very much considering trying this out for some new Go! releases..

As just mentioned elsewhere, chinese sellers on ebay have GDO Hotspot and Megatron (and the other chap) for a startlingly low £12-13 each. Sent in a jiffy bag so box will be crushed, but thats the only downside.

I actually have one on the way. I was daft enough to buy when they were still £20 unboxed. I wonder where they're getting from so cheap, and why just Hotspot? Maybe there's a chain of cash & carries in China selling Universe voyagers for half off, with mountains of everybody else from that case assortment and no Hotspots because they've all been bought to sell to westerners.
I bought one a couple of weeks ago and it's still not here. A bit of a bummer since we're flying out next Monday!
Anyone know how long the sorting office keep international packages before sending them back? I fear the worst since a Brave Max was coming by sea from Japan and still isn't here either! It was dispatched in early April and is due some time in the next couple of weeks.
