Just a quick note to say that my band Bastards of Science are playing their final gig. Anyone wishing to attend please let me know. Date: Wednesday 9th July Location: Glasgow Soundhaus Tickets: £5 from me...£7 at door. Even if you don't want to see us, i'd suggest coming anyway to see Arnocorps. The Soundhaus is in Hydepark St. very near Anderston train station.
I have also found that the tickets are £6 from me, because the promoter is a greedy bas.

Wednesday the 9th? Curses. I don 't think I can make it. Unfortunately I have to be in work fairly promptly on the Thursday, because we are a bit shorthanded at present what with various folks being on annual leave.
I would love to have come, but sadly I don't think there is any likelihood of me making it. Hope the farewell gig goes well though - have a a good time, those folks who are going.

Well, I tried phoning Soundhaus. The extremely pissed off man on the other end didn't know, and suggested I call back after he had checked. Alas, the line is now engaged. If I had to guess I'd say BoS will be on before Arnocorp at 8, with the Corps themselves turning up later.

Got through the second time. A slightly more pleasant woman didn't know either, went off to find out, shouted at someone that they had to be in for quarter to six because she had to go and visit her mother, then came back. She explained that she didn't know, suggested I try to be there for half past seven and immediately hung up. Still not sure when BoS are playing, but it sounds like it'll be worth going just to watch the staff reach crisis point and start killing each other.

Well, that was very entertaining.
It was nice to see your band, Gav. Bit of a shame it was the last gig. I thought they were pretty good in all honesty! If you re-form, I'll be there to watch!
Arnocorps were utterly mental and I loved them, especially when the lead singer/Arnie made us all run on the spot in honour of The Running Man. I damn near pissed myself when he told us to chant the name of "the bad man, the evil man" from Commando: Bennett! Go see Arnocorps, if you get the chance.
