I had an inkling something was up when I saw the very odd tweet he sent Danny Baker and then his apologies afterwards - we now think he'd meant to DM Danny and tweeted publicly it by accident. Even so the news today has been a big shock. Loved his "signing" on clue which took me onto other stuff he'd done. Very sad news :-( |

Stop after those two. I heard episode 3 ('Lockdown Recording 1') on R4 on Monday. It was awful. The laughter was a composite of what sounded like about 12 individual listeners sitting at home trying to laugh louder and less realistically than one another regardless of whether or not the joke amused them. Did not work at all. Better not to have had any audience sound at all. Martin |
