Phil - Just a Minute is what gives me joy. And I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue. Martin Clue is great. So pleased the week 2 show that closed the last series *finally* had all of Uxbridge English Dictionary, Pick Up Song, Sound Charades & Mornington Crescent on. They've missed at least one of those, sometimes two, out of most week 2 shows for the last few years. nice radio...Clue is great

If you like clue try and get a copy of the week2 show with both Snadi Toksvig & Jeremy Hardy as guests as guests. Jeremy gets given "Get by with a little help from my friends" on Pick Up Song.... Ask yourself what the first line is ....

I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue starts again on Monday with Brigstocke making his debut on the panel. He's been in Camelot so I think we think he can sing..... Cockney Rhyming Slang Mornington Crescent was superb this week!

I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue was back tonight.
The words of "My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas to the tune of "I Vow To Thee My Country" (Holst) as sung by the Maestro, Jeremy Hardy, himself. Superb.

BOOOOOOO! No Mornington Crescent *again*
Everyone knows week 2 should be New Definitions/Pick Up Song/Sound Charades/Mornington Crescent. Except Jon Naismith it seems......

Is it me or does I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue come across as very scripted in places?

Sometimes even YouTube won't provide and it's necessary to upload from your own collection......
Jeremy Hardy's finest hour. Stoke 2000. It's the moment where the audience realise how the first line ends just before Jeremy gets there.....

Class Now Show last Friday with the classic line up together for the first time in I don't know how long.
Right it's a Clue Week 2 show tonight: I want Uxbridge English Dictionary, I want (especially because Jeremy Hardy's here) Pick Up Song and (because they keep forgetting) Mornington Crescent.

Dear lord that was a good Clue tonight. I was listening doing the washing up and was literally bent double over the sink in agony laughing during Uxbridge English Dictionary. And then one of the best Lionel Blair jokes for many a show.

Not going to enjoy tonight's Clue: it's the first of the two shows recorded in Kingston that I failed to get tickets for :-(

Kingston Week2 on Clue tonight. We want Uxbridge English Dictionary, Pick Up Song, Sound Charades and, even though there's no tube station in the Royal Borough, MORNINGTON CRESCENT! (preferably sans Sat Nav. Funny the first time, not any more)

How much of ISIHAC do you think the panellists are briefed on before it's recorded? Things like Songs Sung To Another Tune seem to be pre-prepared imo, or that could just be the classic comedy skills of Barry Cryer et al.

I believe there's a script of sorts though I'm pretty sure a significant proportion is ad libbed.

Gotta be quick these days. Sometimes I manage it; last series the venue closest to me sold out within minutes and I lost out while sat in the queue. Those recordings are always good fun.

Just catching up the last few episodes...S70E5 Rob Brydon singing Spider-Man to the tune of a song from Les Mis was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.

My favourite Jeremy Hardy moment comes from an old ISIHAC with his Pick Up Song rendition of "Get By With A Little Help From My Friends" He gets about 1/3 of the way through the first line and the audience suddenly realises what he's going to sing next and he looses them.
Sadly it doesn't appear to be online or any of the compilations
Will be much missed.
