Saw in a local discount shop selling for about £3 last weekend a bunch of Car Robots car brothers knock offs. Gaudily coloured and packaged in robot mode. A lot of the panels were not connected and packed seperately supposedly so they can be attached later.

Has anyone seen the two packs going around. They vary from mashups between the Spychangers, Minicons and mainly the Sixwing Micromasters.

Oh yeah...
As for those Jumpstarters. I recognise the Topspin KO from a bootlegged toy I owned in 87. Surely it can't be the same KO... I remember that the plastic was so bad that the spring in the Jumpstarter gimmick eventually snapped the legs off.

Shockingly my Poundland actually has some robot toys when I was in this weekend, so I have now seen the wonder and the terror that is Robot Truck. (There were also some random neon recolours of various minicons 6 to a card, twelve to collect apparently).

That ones been doing the rounds in Bristol-Land for quite a while. I find that variant works than the green.

But the picture promises Black Arachnia vs the classics dragon Minicon, which seems a lot better than the classics tiger vs movie starscream!

Again from Poundland in Broadmead. They also have the size ups of the Requim Blaster and Skyboom Sheild minicons (with Terrorcons pictured on the back).
The rest of the Beasty toys I saw were old beast Legends paired up with beast minicons. No Blackarachnia I am afraid, just the illustration.

I opened up the Beasty Converters and they are not too bad. The size-up Starscream is actually a more stable and solid toy than the Legends class original.
I may get one or two of the other sets, but I doubt Blackarachnia is amongst them. One of the robots is already the Scourge KO from the Alien Terminators line, so I am giving that one a miss.

At last, something to report from Jeddah!I found what appeared to be knockoff Jumpstarters with different attachments- one of them had a front arm with a scoop on it in vehicle mode. It was in a wee toy shop next to Danube (think Middle-East-Tesco). It was odd, since almost every other line they sold was 'genuine'. The censored Disney Princess merchandise was pretty hilarious. Jasmine's arms and mid-riff have been coloured in the same shade as her dress, Belle's ballgown now has a collar and Ariel seems to have put on a t-shirt. I'll need to take a picture next time I see it. -Nick
