Marvel Comics The Untold Story

I just finished reading Marvel Comics The Untold Story by Sean Howe and would highly recommend it, especially to anyone with an interest in Marvel Comics.

It's a highly detailed history of the company starting from the very beginning in the 40s, right up to the recent Disney acquisition.

Very interesting, and unbiased. There are excerpts available on the author's website here.

I saw a copy of that the other week and was unsure about picking it up. So many of these types of books are crap. May still give it a go at some point.

Definitely do! I learnt so much I didn't know about Marvel from it and found it very readable. Give the excerpts a read, see if it catches your fancy.
