I almost forgot about this and found it in my reading pile on Friday (well, rather my daughter did who insisted on pulling it out and my reading it to her, which was a bit of an odd experience).
It's okay; art and plot are serviceable, but it's some levels below what we've come to expect from IDW over the past year. Autocracy at least had distinctive art, and the Fall of Cybertron comic which preceded this was also interestingly written if a bit flawed in my opinion.
I'll probably wait to see reviews of issue 2 before picking it up; maybe it will have more value to people who watch Prime as I understand it's filling in background for season 3.

Picked this up (detailed thoughts are on an upcoming episode of The Underbase podcast) but I really enjoyed it. A frenetic first issue, (pushing MTME and RID out of my frame of reference as they are ongoings, this is a mini) and great artwork. Like the FOC comic, for all it's in the Aligned continuity the characters feel very much like their classic Marvel incarnations. It's a quick read, not because it's decompressed but because events move at a fair tilt.
