Wow. The new Unicron looks so amazing when placed next to the Armada one. The Armada one looks positively shabby by comparison!

That's simply divine! The better headsculpt (featuring the 'Ken Flatt' handbar tache and chinhorns) and the vastly improved and much richer depth colour scheme make a world of difference. It makes Armada Unicron feel diluted now...
I hope nobody tweaked the contrast of that photo because that feels just right!

I almost wish I hadnt passed this one up due to having the armada one.. but still £100 is a lot for a repaint of a figure I already have.... maybe.

I always knew I didn't like the head now I can see exactly why. I have planned for years to do a repaint that looks exactly like the Taktom one but never did an I think its because I never could have got the head to look like that.
No way I can justify buying it, unless I could sell off all my junker Unicrons for a crazy high price over the next few months, but it's very nice looking.

I think I'm going to like G2 Prime. Scourge I was unimpressed with at botcon in the small photo then quite like in later pictures, but todays have put me back to unsure, I think its the same thing as Thunderwing. It looks a bit plain and simple and in Scourges case the head dont look too good in comparison to the frankly excellent head from last years Botcon set.
Wheeljack loos excellent. Frenzy and Rumble? Odd.

The Prime & Scourge looks like the same scanned photos from the club mag we saw a month or so back. I like the look of both of them, Scourge looks waaaay better than the original.
Wheeljack doesn't look bad at all.
Frenzy is one half the deal, need to see Rumble and how they combine. But that's not a bad start.

Someone at Hasbro likes that German AA vehicle then, seeing as that altmode is getting another outing. Doesn't do a lot for me I have to say. Nothing really wrong with it as a prototype. I kind of need to see what it looks like in colour before I make up my mind. I was wondering how they were going to do Laser Prime justice considering the original is such a good toy. Apparently the answer is that they aren't. Not convinced by that I'm afraid. I actually don't mind the alt-mode - it reminds me of some advanced UCAV concept art that I have seen and really does feel like a slightly futuristic air-vehicle. I'm starting to go off the humanoid mode however. The giant shoulder pads really aren't appealing. Karl

I think Scourge is looking a little better now. The first shot of him made him look really misshapen.

I find my reaction to Generations/United/Reveal The Shield/Whatever Name you Want This Week is that I seem to either think they are fantastic or shit! A very marmite range. I seem to either love them or hate them! I have yet to find myself thinking: 'It's just ok'.

Hi folks! It's been a while.
Hmm... I do like Scourge and it's spiffy that we're getting another targetmaster.
G2 Prime is... not up to the standard of the original. I'm not sure why they went with the black nose and attached it to a blue cab. All blue would have been too much like movie Prime. I'm sure the original was all-black. An odd choice.
Wheeljack I do like. The design team has clearly bent over backwards to recapture the look of the original toy and character in both modes.
Frenzy looks... okay. Will Rumble be an identical vehicle in a different colour scheme? I'll wait to see him before I commit.

Wha..? D'oh!
Just looked back to the previous page and saw some more new releases. Jazz, Wreck-gar and Perceptor look phenomenal! Tracks is fine too, but he's just a bit squat-looking compared to the original and his flying-car mode is a bit half-assed. Still a fun add-on for a child's toy, however.
