We are big fans of Nigel's dad. -Ralph No word of a lie, catching up with Nigel's dad was genuinely a convention highlight for me.

Hello, I'm Minerva! Long time fan, first time caller. Well, I wouldn't say "long time." I'd bet that I'm one of the youngest here. I'm from the US but found out about this site from my research. My first shows were Prime and reruns of G1 that I used to watch semi-religiously. I then picked up the IDW comics and got fully hooked after reading through the majority of them. Additionally, I've started my first read of the original Marvel comics.
I mentioned research, so some of you may be wondering what I mean by that. I'm what some may call a digital historian. The internet has been a part of my life since I was young. And, well, data disappears every day. And mixed in with that data is Transformers fandom history. My present project is archiving and storing the bits and pieces of it that are easily accessible, and hunting down the ones that are not. Something about this fandom's roots being buried and/or destroyed to the point where the younger generations wouldn't even know about it strikes me as very sad.
Anyways, I just think robots as a whole are neat. Gundam, Mazinger, the Brave series, all of it. I'm also on a robotics team so that probably says something. I'm an avid sci-fi enjoyer and a trained martial artist. See you guys around!

Minerva:
If you can manage it then get your hands on the TMUK Beast Wars comics drawn by Nick Roche as fanfiction. Actually it's worth getting your hands on just about everything these guys have done. For example the text story (albeit in mini booklet format) Globequake by Gaham Thompson remains my favorite. There was also a fantastic Whodunnit fanfiction that people took turns writing (I don't even have the chapter I did anymore:()
Basically lots of pre-internet gems and some "young internet" trinkets.

They are all gold, but a slight correction the TMUK Beast Wars comics were Jack Lawrence - Nick was CG2 and a little PRISAC. But you are bang on about them being grand.
