Hey, leaving the proboards data protection/cookies thing unclicked seems to have stopped that really intrusive can we talk message popping up and taking over the whole screen. Genius.

On my browser I used to click on one page and then a really obnoxious please disable your ad blocker picture would come up and take up the page, with only a sorry I'll do it next time button to click for getting rid of it. When the data protection law changes came in I just got a please accept our cookies banner came up at the bottom of the page and if you just ignore it you can browse the page without the please disable adblocker screen coming up, albeit with a blue bar at the bottom of the screen.

Why are spoiler tags so rubbish in probroads. You put a title in the title box, then it doesn't actually use it as the title. Then when you flick back and forth from bbcode view to preview it changes it all and messes it up. This has been a problem as long as I've used these boards.

I can see the title used on the spoiler in the 2000ad thread, if that's what you're referring to?
Is this one of these things which differs between mobile and & web versions?
PERSONALLY I don't like what'd generated by the spoiler button, the blue text annoys me and is hard to see, so just use the written [spoiler][/spoiler] tags round my spoiled text.

this is in tags This is one problem - if you switch between Preview and BBCode view in the desktop version of proboards it adds a spoiler header every time. Hence there being three above. I didn't add those, it did it by itself. I reckon that's what's messing me up. Also - if you use a tag manually you get the heading Spoiler: click to show. Which the preview view changes to being just 'spoiler' in blue. I thought that in Preview view, because when you click the spoiler icon you can add a heading and the spoiler that the heading would become the bit you click on to view the spoiler, but it doesn't seem to work like that. It just puts it underneath. And what's the bit in curly brackets for? where does that come from?! Doesn't matter really. It's just annoying it isn't consistent. edit: Oh right. So if you add a bit in {} after the square bracket spoiler tag, it uses that as the heading. {Spoiler title!}Spoiler content edit 2: just don't go back and edit that in preview view, because if you do it automatically changes it like this: {Spoiler}Spoiler title!

I find the spoiler tag system to be not very user-friendly (especially on mobile) so I don't use them much.
