Those two were Transmissions rumours and they tend to work some way ahead. The toys we saw yesterday were rumoured by that particular mole last year, so Gnaw and Kickback might be a way off. I really hope they're true as I think at that scale I can't think of any two figures I'd rather have at the moment. I REALLY hope Kickback isn't a weird remould and is an original figure.

I think Botcon at the latest. Toyfair seems to be covering waves 1 and 2 which makes sense as its about whats going to be available in the next however many months. If Gnaw and Kickback are wave 3 or later then Botcon or SDCC make sense.
Botcon might also have more of the upcoming store exclusives and previews of stuff still in the design process. Then SDCC will get later retail waves going into early next year.
Last year it seemed they did a better job of spreading reveals across the three events, hopefully the same this year however it breaksdown.

I was just disappointing myself with the bot mode of ROTF Wheelie there and up pops this belter.
In case any of you haven't seen ROTF Wheelie in the flesh, he's the complete opposite of this. He's a wee ugly gangly tit head.

I've only owned a G1 version for a few months. Something really did go wrong there. So they'd used all the minicar moulds predating the Transformers three times, wanted a new one for the film and managed to come up with that as their first Hasbro originated design? Amazing.

Y'know, I used to love that G1 Wheelie. Took him everywhere with me, even to school. I was utterly distraught when he got lost. (probably at school)

As children we had strange obsessions (yes, I know, as adults we do too). However I happen to have said G1 Wheelie on my desk before me now, and he really is an odd figure. The lack of hands and the hunched back do him no favours, but the largest crime here is the FACE FLAP. Yes, we moan about arse flaps and now Masterpiece hip flaps, but at least they're out of the way. Only Wheelie has a FACE FLAP to hide his rosy cheeked shame.
Actually, now I come to play with this and try and get something out of it I realise that you can just about pivot the windscreen forward to make it look half like a peaked cap.
But he still looks like he's wearing orange high heels to me.
