At first I thought of Scorponok as a future release and possibly a Gold-Plastic-Syndrome-free Black Zarak from eHobby or somewhere. Overlord would be good too.

Well - having Omega Supreme and Sky Linx reissued is great - and it is not surprising that Omega comes on the heels of Sky Linx; since both of the moulds were originally by a different company - can't recall the exact name - but there were licensing issues involved with the reissue similar to what prevents Shockwave or Jetfire from getting a reissue.
However in my opinion it's impossible to guess what might be on the horizon as a reissue.
I had been hoping and praying for a Metroplex, as he is by all means one of the most endearing TF toys out there...
And I never owned either Sky linx or Omega Supreme, so I'll be happy to add them to my collection....
Overlord is possible, although I expect that they will continue to focus on the 84/85/86 lines - and something like Overlord would be a single release special like Star Convoy or God Ginrai...
That said - I personally would love to see reissued special teams - starting with the Protectobots on the heels of Metroplex.
But with Takara - you never know. I mean - who would have expcted Kup and Wheelie together... ?

Ralph. Ralph would have expected it. But no-one else.
Welcome to the Hub, by the way! I think the company name you were searching for is Toybox- an Australian bunch.

Thundercracker and Skywarp are sooooo going on my 'Wants' list. (which doesn't seem to get any smaller- 'cos I buy stuff, but then add more stuff on there!) They will join my vintage and still in reasonable nick Starscream for another set of Seek-I mean, Strike Planes!!! Yiiiippeeee!

QUOTE: "my skywarp toy looks just like that though?? maybe they have new stickers " Actually - that depends. If your Skywarp is a Hasbro Commemorative reissue, then there is a big difference between Hasbro Com. Skywarp and this Encore reissue. Hasbro Commeorative Skywarp and Thundercracker had "laser tips" for their launchers which were artificially inflated to about four times the regular laser-tip size. I'm sure this was done to conform to some silly child safety laws (aka children could swallow the laser tips). Also - I believe that there were no "bomb" tips provided in the Hasbro commemorative editions. Encore Skywarp and Thundercracker, like Starscream, have the original 1984 laser tips unaltered. Most definitely worth picking up! dyrl

It is a bit too plain for me as well. (Besides, I much prefer the black Converters release). An army of any Transformer would surely be fairly prohibitive. Even a platoon or squad of these things would be more than my budget could imagine! Karl

I quite like that! The first time I remember seeing that was when I watched The Key To Vector Sigma and War Dawn video as a kid. I still enjoy those episodes today and the cartoon Guardian's first appearance was in the latter one. It may cost a bit, but I think I'll put it on my hitlist for this year.

That's a nice-looking set. That would be a nice MIB display piece. I'd have preferred to see Hubcap in the set rather than Bumblebee, though.

I'm with Nigel, that's a very nice box that they've actually put sone effort in to. Hubcap would've been cool, but I guess that Bumblebee just has much more name value at the moment and will probably help the set sell more.

Anyone got or getting this? Mine is in the post. Omega Supreme is one the toys I always wanted as a kid so I'm looking forward to him arriving. I'm trying to keep my expectations intact as I suspect he may be a bit poo.

I was thinking about getting one of these, but in the end a few of things put me off. One was the price of it, one was the size (I literally have nowhere to put it) and the other was the changes to the mold. I really don't like the face they've added to the reissue. I'd have prefered it if they had left it the way it originally was. The face just looks a bit daft to me.

He's about £47.28 on HLJ, with shipping at either £22.22 (for EMS) or £23.64 (for SAL) if that is any help.
